By downloading, accessing, or using Teleprompterly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
The service
Teleprompterly is an iOS teleprompter and recording tool. Features may include on-screen scripts during capture, Voice Follow scrolling, local script storage, and export/share of recordings you create. The marketing website describes the product and hosts legal pages.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with Apple’s App Store terms. You are responsible for the device, network, and permissions needed to use the app.
Accounts and Sign in with Apple
Some features require Sign in with Apple after a subscription. You are responsible for activity under your signed-in session on that device.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase.
- Current illustrative pricing: $7.99 per month, or $49.99 per year (about 48% savings). Annual plans may include a free trial as shown in the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription by itself.
- Pricing and trial availability are controlled in App Store Connect and may change; the App Store product page is authoritative.
Your content
You retain rights to scripts and videos you create. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any text you load into the teleprompter and any recording you publish or share. Do not use Teleprompterly for unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Teleprompterly for your own recording and prompting purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple’s rules. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app except as allowed by law.
Disclaimer
The app and website are provided “as is.” Speech recognition accuracy, camera performance, and device compatibility vary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teleprompterly and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or recordings, arising from your use of the app or website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid for Teleprompterly subscriptions in the twelve months before the claim.
App Store
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. In the event of a failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any) as permitted by Apple; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them related to your use of the app.
Changes
We may update the app and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
